Therapy isn't always hearts and rainbows

December 22, 2016 Boonie Sripom
Uploaded by Boontarika Sripom on 2016-09-28.

Although I will not be performing therapy as of 2017, I will still share on therapy and coaching on my blog. It is a journey to find the right-fit therapist for you at the time, and sometimes it can be a catalyst for change, and sometimes it can be an indication of one's readiness to heal or looking for more support.

My First E3 with Anxiety Gaming & Take This

June 20, 2016 Boonie Sripom
I was invited by Anxiety Gaming to participate with the AFK room at e3. My buddy, Jennifer Walker with Mindful Misfit Therapy, was also there. We watched the new Zelda preview, played with the Last Guardian puppy kitty bird and had a blast being with gamers. Very thankful for the opportunity.

Giftedness & Authenticity

May 30, 2016 Boonie Sripom
Growing up gifted or sensitive may not always be welcomed in one's culture. This may lead to developing social personas that make one feel inauthentic or like an imposter. Seeking a therapist who is part of the gifted community can help with this process of self acceptance and increasing authentic exchanges.

Wearing masks in social settings when being gifted can make one feel like a fake or imposter. It can also make others feel like they are being lied to. Gifted individuals may have a hard time navigating through this process of being authentic, and accepting this part of oneself.
