Counseling in the Beginning

December 14, 2015 Boonie Sripom

First part of what it's like going to counseling. Give me a call today at (949)381-1894 to see how counseling and I can help you. Take care! -Boonie Sripom, MA, MFTI (Registered Marriage & Family Therapist Intern) IMF#78298 (supervision by Jen McNally LMFT#49598 with Life Tree Therapy www.LifeTreeTherapy.com www.OrganizedMesses.com

I remember my first experiences with counseling weren't so fun or informative. I'm hoping this video can help alleviate some worries about seeking mental health support. Therapists are people, and some are a good match, some aren't. It's important to understand your rights as a consumer and what the process may be like with each therapist. I'll be making more to elaborate on things I missed.

Update: 12.2.2016 I will continue sharing information to help consumers better understand their options when searching for a good-fit therapist. I, personally, will not be offering services as a therapist to any new clients. I am working on transitioning into coaching services and will share updates.
